HEALTH HERO NETWORK CEO TO SPEAK AT SECOND INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON TELEMEDICINE IN GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN
Improving Quality of and Access to Home Care Through Telemedicine

Mountain View, Calif. – Dec. 16, 2002 – Health Hero Network, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Brown will speak tomorrow at the Second International Symposium on Telemedicine in Gothenburg, Sweden. Mr. Brown is participating in the “Telemedicine in Home Care and Care of the Elderly” session.

He will discuss a telemedicine-assisted model of home care and present results from several community-based home care implementations. Mr. Brown’s presentation will address current home care trends, adaptation of telemedicine solutions, and ways to empower home care nurses and their patients to improve quality of and access to care.

Health Hero Network plans to expand into Europe with a series of introductory demonstration projects in early 2003. This is Mr. Brown’s third speaking engagement in Europe this year.
