Social media is about people having a conversation online. On LinkedIn, a vast majority of people just go to the site to post and update their resume or to look up other people's resumes. However, I would assert Linked In is more than just a resume posting web site. For me (I have been a member when less than 20K (2003) were members now 40 Million) Linked In is indeed part of the social media domain with their groups, Q&A, sharing connections and professional and "social" interactions among members. For me (I have been a member when less than 20K (2003) were members now 40 Million) Linked In is indeed part of the social media domain with their groups, Q&A, sharing connections and professional and “social” interactions among members.
